Our beautiful heart ad (above) has been described as “offensive” by Ooh Media and “appalling” by the NSW Transport Minister, Andrew Constance.

We disagree. Strongly disagree.

Which is why we need your signature.

The beautiful and simple message that life is worth celebrating and an unborn child has a beating heart at just four weeks from conception was ripped from Newcastle buses and a Lake Macquarie (NSW) billboard after public complaints.

Neither the Transport Minister nor Ooh Media even bothered to discuss the issue with us.

They didn’t want the drama and bowed to the noisy minority.

If you disagree with their actions, as we do, then register your objection by signing our petition and sharing with your friends.

We need tens of thousands of people to sign up during August before we present our petition to the CEO of Ooh Media, Brendon Cook, and the NSW Premier, Gladys Berejiklian.

Sign to stop the censorship of life

“In the interests of free speech, women’s health, community education and human rights, we respectfully ask Ooh Media and the NSW State Government to allow Emily’s Voice to display advertising such as the example above on Government buses and out-of-home advertising.”

Sign the Petition

We also invite you to give a special financial gift to enable Emily’s Voice campaigns to be heard more widely, more loudly and more often. To fill the gap caused by the removal of our ads, we are in the process of organising a mobile billboard to circulate for two weeks in Newcastle/Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast (Wyong, Gosford and Woy Woy). You can help us make that happen.

Want to do more?

Thank you! We’re so buoyed by the amount of support we have received already for our campaigns to continue in strength across Australia. Here are some other ways you can help us stand for life, in love:

  1. Share the petition with your friends. Copy the link and share away, via email, social media, text message and messenger services. Tag your friends specifically when you post on social media, so they don’t miss it!
  2. Write to Ooh Media. Respectfully tell them why you love our ads and that you would like to see them back up. You can do this via their website or Facebook message.
  3. Change your Facebook profile photo to the artwork below. Our ads have been physically removed from buses and billboards, but you have the power to spread the life message at a grassroots level. Don’t underestimate the power in that.

Thank you for your support.
